About Us

Ellen Barrett, owner of Cold, Wet Noses, was born and raised in Canton, Ohio. She earned a B.S. in Psychology from Elmira College in upstate New York. She married Scott in 1990, and together they adopted Alex, as an infant, in 1998. She worked in computing for 9+ years at the Boeing Company. She also was a realtor in Bellingham for a few years. They have loved living in Kingston since 2002.

Ellen loves being a dog walker. It appeals to her on several levels... her love of animals, her fondness for meeting new people, and her entrepreneurial nature, to name a few. She grew up around animals and her childhood pets were 2 Airedales and 2 crows. She currently has one lab/poodle (Frango), cat (Hobbes) and 3 cockatiels.

For fun, Ellen enjoys being a soccer mom, camping, and working with stained glass. She is a regular volunteer in her son's classroom.

Cold, Wet Noses provides quality dog-walking for much of North Kitsap County. Insured for your protection and peace of mind.
